๐ŸŽฎ User Guide

Everything you need as a player โ€” from signing up to lifting the trophy. Running a tournament instead? See the Admin Guide.

1. Signing up

Tournaments are announced with an embed in your server. Use the buttons on the post:

Tip: some tournaments require a server role to enter โ€” if the bot says you're missing one, ask the organizer.

2. Check-in

Some tournaments require a check-in shortly before start (you'll see it on the announcement, e.g. โ€œ10 min before startโ€). When check-in opens, the bot posts in the channel and DMs you โ€” click โœ… Check In in time. For team events, every member checks in individually. No check-in = removed from the bracket when the tournament starts.

3. Your matches & match rooms

When the tournament starts, the bot creates a private channel for each match โ€” only you (or your whole team), your opponents, and tournament admins can see it. You'll be pinged in the room when it's created, so you always know where to play. Use it to:

Reporting results is admin-only. When your match is done, post the result (screenshot helps) in the match room and an admin confirms it โ€” including the series score in best-of-3 and longer (e.g. 2-1). The bracket advances automatically and your next match room appears when your opponent is decided.

4. Byes & walkovers

When the bracket size doesn't divide evenly (say 23 players in a 32 bracket), some entrants skip a round with a bye โ€” these go to the top seeds, or earliest signups if seeding isn't used. In double elimination you can also advance by walkover when no opponent can reach your slot.

Either way, the bot DMs you the moment you advance without playing โ€” no need to discover it from the bracket. Make sure your DMs are open for the server.
